PRINTING

After editing, cover design and typesetting have all been completed, the necessary ISBN’s and machine-readable barcodes are obtained and placed onto your book’s back cover.

For those authors who have an illustrated children’s book, our in-house illustrators will create custom illustrated figures, scenes, and characters.

Do I have any say in my book design?

Yes! Your project manager and designer will create a book cover and interior design based on your overall vision and input. We also include unlimited revisions to ensure that the book design meets your satisfaction.

What form of book editing do you provide?

The editing service included is a blend of copyediting and proofreading. To further define it, an editor will correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax. Your Spirit Publishing editor will also provide notes in the margins. All editing is done in Microsoft Word using the track changes tool, so you will see every single change made and will be able to approve or reject each individual change.

Do I keep my copyright and publishing rights?

Yes absolutely! We will simply become your publisher on a non-exclusive basis. You retain your copyright and all exclusive publishing rights.

EDITING

Based upon your creative ideas and wishes, our in-house staff of graphic designers will create a full-color custom cover design for your book.

TYPESETTING

Once all manuscript errors have been corrected and all approved revisions implemented, the manuscript is then typeset and ready for printing.

After editing, cover design and typesetting have all been completed, the necessary ISBN’s and machine-readable barcodes are obtained and placed onto your book’s back cover.

DIGITAL CONVERSION

In addition to a print edition, your book can also be available as an ePub version, available for digital reader devices.
