Inspired by the Jackson Five’s first television performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, our founder, Arthur Phoenix, successfully created a lifelong career in entertainment. After reading Smokey Robinson’s autobiography, he was motivated to write his first book.

Determined to share his stories and creative writing, and discovering it was nearly impossible to publish his amazing works through any of the traditional publishing houses, he ventured into self-publishing with his entrepreneurial mindset and Spirit Publishing was born.
